I ran this morning at 5:15 AM because the baby woke me up and I figured it might be the only time I would get today. Nathan wakes up at around 6:30 and since he's pretty much my responsibility until we get into a routine I need to be around to get him up and ready for the day.

The run turned out to be really cool. It was a full moon and there was almost no traffic so I ran right down the middle of the road. It was cold, about 33 degree's, but that only made it more fun since once I was warmed up the steam was rising off my shoulder's.

I rediscovered the original high tech fabric.... wool. I wear an old wool sweater and even if I sweat I stay nice and toasty.

I don't know who they have working at Dreamhost but their admin panel borked when I tried to add a sub-domain to kungfoo.com. I sent in a trouble ticket asking them to remove any instance of that SUB-domain and what did they do? They removed the whole damn kungfoo.com domain from their system. So now the site has been unavailable for about 12 hours. I'm totally unimpressed. I sure hope they can make this right quickly or I will be forced to proclaim "dreamhost sucks" and I really don't want to do that because I've already put alot of work into getting things setup on their system.

I've decided to move my sites off of my own server and onto Dreamhost . I've grown tired of the sys-admin side of things and by going with Dreamhost I free up all my time to work on the sites. Now I won't have to keep up with security patches and all that sort of thing. Yeah... I have to pay Dreamhost but the Google Ads are finally making enough to offset the cost of hosting. So keep clicking ;) I'm in the middle of moving the sites now and it's been a pain in the ass. Hopefully it will be worth it.

It's the middle of January and I've been wearing shorts and tshirt for a couple weeks now. Looks like we have some cooler weather on the way though.
