I've sorta borked my Ubuntu machine. I attempted to apt-get install linux-k7 but for some reason grub's menu.lst didn't get edited. Actually I installed the packages that make up the linux-k7 metapackage first then realized that the metapackage existed so installed that. I'm not sure what happened. So I edited menu.lst but that didn't work. I can't figure out why grub is giving me a kernel file not found error. I can see the kernel right there next to the old 386 kernel. I contemplated going back to gentoo yesterday but thought better of it. I don't really have time to play with gentoo right now.

Whooo weee, it's been a hectic week. That new baby of mine isn't sleeping so hot anymore.
The good news is I ran tuesday, wednesday and thursday. The achilles still doesn't feel 100% but it doesn't hurt either.
I rode the trainer again on tuesday morning for 45 minutes. I can't wait to get the spinervals video to make this a little more exciting.

35 minutes on the trainer at 6 this morning. 1900 yards at 11. I think I can hold my fitness through this (hopefully) brief running layoff.
I'm catching some shit about doing the Gulf Coast Half-Ironman in May. I don't see how I could get enough riding in to do a 56 mile bike. It's hard to find the time to do 3 hour rides these days.
